What to Expect
The tour of Fatima is perhaps outside the region of Lisbon, the most popular tour in Portugal, making possible apart from the Sanctuary, to visit several other historical and tourist attractions. The itinerary includes two national monuments classified as World Heritage sites by UNESCO (Monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça) and one of the "7 Wonders of Portugal": Óbidos. The Castle (built from the 12th to the 15th century) and the entire village of Óbidos constitute a unique late medieval settlement, classified as a national monument since 1951.
